Organizing and running the OJRA is a lot of fun, but also requires a lot of time and commitment. Like most organizations, the OJRA relies fully on volunteer efforts. The OJRA Board Members (Ed Boyle, Annette Knoth, Bruce Reid, and Angie Henderson) have each been deeply involved with the OJRA for 4-6 years. The OJRA is actively seeking parent volunteers to organize/perform the following tournament tasks:
- Tournament Food
- Tournament Medals
- Digital Photos
We could use volunteers to organize food, medals and take digital photos, for one or more of the OJRA tourney during the 2006-07 season. Please contact Bruce Reid at breid@tcco.com if you could help out.
It may have been the last great weather weekend of the year outside, but 115 players kicked of the 2006-2007 ORA Tour indoors at the Timberhill Athletic Club in Corvallis.
Congratulations to Jeff Stark, winner of the Men's Open Singles Division, and Tina Fortin, who captured the Women's Open Singles title.
Thanks to Rob Durbin and the whole Timberhill A.C. staff for a great weekend.
