Sunset Athletic Club proudly hosted the 2010 Northwest Junior Regional Championships.
The event served as a qualifier event for the 2010 USA Racquetball Junior National Championships to be held this June in Minnesota.
In the Boy's Singles 18 and Under Division, Taylor Knoth (Milwaukie, Ore.) defeated Rick Charbonneau (Oregon City, Ore.) 15-2, 15-1. Knoth then teamed up with Jeremy Mcglothin (Canby, Ore.) to win the Boy's Advanced Doubles title.
Amanda Lindsay (Oregon City, Ore.) knocked off Sara Del Balzo (Portland, Ore.) to take home the gold in the Girl's Singles 18 and Under Division. Del Balzo bounced back through with a win in the Mixed Doubles Championship, teaming up with Joel Barshaw (Portland, Ore.).
