The Club Challenge and ORA Awards Party
120 players from 6 clubs came together on Sept. 18th at Sunset Athletic Club to play in the 4th Annual Club Challenge hosted by the ORA. After 5 hours of Doubles play (150 games), the winning team that emerged beat out all the other clubs by almost 20 points, and for 2nd and 3rd place, there was only a difference of 3 points. Scoring format – 5 points for winning, and 2 points for playing.
Congratulations goes to the Beaverton Family YMCA!
For winning, Beaverton gets to display the Club Challenge Trophy for a year, and each player received a cool bath Towel with ‘2010 ORA Club Champs’ embroidered on it.
